If you have seen me around, you probably can tell that Summer is my favorite time of the year. I absolutely love to wear resort clothing and bright colors. My happy place is by the ocean or the pool swimming laps. Wherever the sun is shining.

When the Fall approaches, I am reminded there is another time for beauty. We are blessed in the Tennessee Valley to be able to enjoy all four seasons. However short some of them might be.

Fall signals a change and we as an organization are going through some changes of our own. It is time to change our name to The Redstone Arsenal Military and Civilians Club. We feel that by doing so it will allow us to be more inclusive and invite more folks to feel that they have a sense of belonging within the club. We will be voting on the new name at the October Luncheon. Please make every effort to attend and be part of this very important part of that process more information regarding this issue will be addressed in this newsletter.

I am looking forward to our “A Spooktacular Event”! Luncheon in October. Hear stories from Jacque Reeves about Huntsville’s haunted past specifically in the Historical District and Maple Hill Cemetery. Don’t delay, please respond today and bring a friend!

See you soon,
