I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season with friends or family. Welcome to 2019!  A new year always brings new beginnings. It’s a blank slate waiting for you to fill in the details of your life.  It’s a time of renewal and reflection. I hope that your are able to appreciate all the blessings of 2018, and look forward to what the new year will bring.

One of our biggest projects of the year is Wreaths Across America. I want to thank everyone who purchased, advertised and helped lay them in Nashville. We set a lofty goal of 250 wreathes, and we were just 6 shy of this goal with 244. Even though we were short of the goal, we more than doubled our sales from last year. We couldn’t have come this close without Fern Brazda heading it up.

I’d also like to give a HUGE shout out to all of volunteers who helped decorate the Summit. As usual, Addy did a wonderful job. Sadly we can’t leave them up all year, (I would leave mine up all year if I could). If you’re in town, mark your calendar now to help take them down on Thursday, January 3 at 9 am.  Come when you can, stay as long as your are able. Many hands make light work, and it’s always a good opportunity to enjoy each other’s company. The Summit will be providing a light lunch. Hope to see you there.
